Manuka Resources Limited is focused on becoming Australia’s newest silver producer through the restart of the Manuka silver project in the Cobar Basin region of New South Wales.

The Manuka project has an estimated resource of 52 million ounces of silver 236,000t of lead and remains open along strike and at depth with the sulphide potential to be properly assessed after oxide processing has commenced. The project comprises a mine, 60 person camp and reconfigured processing plant plus associated infrastructure which was in operation until November 2015. The project also hosts a highly prospective exploration portfolio.

Manuka expects to list on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in early 2017. After the plant has been refurbished processing of silver ore will occur later in the year.

Manuka Silver Project


The Manuka Silver Project is 90km southwest of Cobar in New South Wales, in the world-class Cobar Basin mineral province that hosts CBH Resources’ Endeavour zinc, lead and silver mine, Peak Gold Mines’ operations, the CSA underground copper mine and Aurelia Metals’ high-grade Hera deposit.

Manuka has an estimated 52 million ounces of silver, with mineralisation remaining open along strike and at depth. MKR purchased the project in August 2016 which also comprises a mine, camp and refurbished process plant.
